Jungle Surfing and Jungle Adventures Night Walks are located on a private reserve in Cape Tribulation, approximately 3 hours drive north of Cairns and 2 hours north of Port Douglas. Our 45 acre property borders the Daintree Cape Tribulation National Park and contains spectacular rainforest, creeks and views of the ocean and the Great Barrier Reef.
Jungle Adventure Centre is our visitor information centre in the heart of Cape Trib and is the main check in point for all Jungle Surfing tours. You complete our pre-tour paperwork here, so please arrive 10 minutes prior to pick up time.
For those staying overnight in Cape Tribulation, we also offer courtesy pick ups from all local accommodation.
Please note that entry to our property (141 Camelot Close) is restricted to Jungle Surfing & Jungle Adventures vehicles only. Do not attempt to enter our property in your own vehicle or on foot.
Driving to Cape Tribulation
From Cairns, take Sheridan Street (which becomes the Captain Cook Highway) north out of Cairns and follow the highway – a spectacular coastal drive – past the Northern Beaches, past the turn off to Port Douglas and through the town of Mossman.
As you exit Mossman, stick to the main road which is signposted to Cape Tribulation and Daintree National Park. Approximately 25km north of Mossman, there is a small information layby on the left hand side of the road, followed by Crossroads Café.
Opposite the café, take the right hand turn signposted to Cape Tribulation National Park and Ferry Crossing. The ferry across the Daintree River operates from 6am to midnight daily and costs $26 return per vehicle (EFTPOS available 9am – 5pm, otherwise CASH ONLY).
When you drive off the ferry, follow the main Cape Tribulation Road north for approximately 45 minutes, until you enter Cape Tribulation.
Jungle Adventure Centre is located on the right side of Cape Tribulation Road as you drive north, just after PK’s Jungle Village.
