Where Are We?
Jungle Surfing and Jungle Adventures Nightwalks are located on a private reserve in Cape Tribulation, approximately 2.5 hours drive north of Cairns. Our 45 acre property borders the Daintree Cape Tribulation National Park and contains spectacular rainforest, creeks and views of the ocean and Great Barrier Reef.
Entry to the property is restricted to Jungle Adventures and Jungle Surfing vehicles only, and we offer courtesy pick ups from all accommodation in Cape Tribulation.
Please do not attempt to enter our property in your own vehicle or on foot. Our steep, unsealed, one-lane driveway requires radio clearance for passage, and in order to create a minimal environmental footprint on site, there is no parking available on the property.
Getting Here - Self Drive
From Cairns, take Sheridan Street (which becomes the Captain Cook Highway) north out of Cairns and follow the highway - a spectacular coastal drive - past the Northern Beaches, past the turn off to Port Douglas and through the town of Mossman.
As you exit Mossman, stick to the main road which is signposted to Cape Tribulation and Daintree National Park. Approximately 25km north of Mossman, there is a small information layby on the left hand side of the road, followed by Crossroads Café.
Opposite the café, take the right hand turn signposted to Cape Tribulation National Park and Ferry Crossing. The ferry across the Daintree River operates from 6am to midnight daily and costs $20 return per vehicle.
When you drive off the ferry, follow the main Cape Tribulation Road north for approximately 45 minutes, until you enter Cape Tribulation.
Our meeting point for self-drivers is at Cape Tribulation Pharmacy, next to PK’s Jungle Village, on the main road. There is free parking available at the Pharmacy. Your pick up time will be confirmed at the time of booking.
