It’s a singing, bustling world, far removed from mans’ dominance over the earth, you’ll learn about the unique history of the rainforest, and be introduced to some of the weird and wonderful creatures that call the Daintree home.
We regularly see forest dragons, birds, butterflies, cassowaries, tree kangaroos and snakes.
Walks follow natural trails over uneven ground and require moderate fitness and comfortable walking shoes. Raincoats are provided.

Our Day Walks take 2 hours and follow natural walking trails on our private rainforest reserve. You’ll get plenty of time to explore the rainforest, learn about its unique history and to meet some of the creatures that call the Daintree home. There’s no interpretive signage, just you, a knowledgeable guide and the mighty jungle!
The walks require moderate fitness and comfortable walking shoes. Raincoats are provided.
Tours depart daily at 10.30am and 2.15pm except Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. If you are self-driving, please arrive at our central pick-up point Turtle Rock Cafe at least 5 minutes before your tour departure. For those staying in Cape Tribulation, we offer a complimentary transfer service from most hotels.

No great physical strength is required. However, this is a 2-hour walking tour around natural rainforest pathways, so a moderate level of fitness is required. If you have restricted mobility, or a medical condition about which you are concerned, please give us a call to discuss your requirements prior to the tour and we will be happy to help.
Yes, but please note this tour is only suitable for children aged 8 years old and over. Private tours for families with younger children might be accommodated, pending availability. Contact us for more information.
This is a natural environment and we do not use baiting, cages or domesticated animals. Therefore, we cannot guarantee any specific sightings. However, we do regularly see We regularly see forest dragon, birds, butterflies, tree kangaroos and plus many species of spiders, insects and snakes.
We have no minimum number and will run our walks with just one person booked. But the maximum group size is 13.
Yes. The Jungle Adventures Day Walk is an all-weather activity. We provide our guests with the use of a raincoat for the duration of the tour. The tour will only be cancelled in extreme conditions, such as cyclones or severe electrical storms. In the unlikely event of a tour cancellation, we will offer alternate dates/times or offer a full refund if a mutually agreeable replacement tour cannot be scheduled. Please note that third party booking fees may not be refundable in all circumstances.
Our 2-hour guided day walk follows natural trails over uneven ground. So it does require moderate fitness and comfortable walking shoes. If you have restricted mobility or are concerned about a specific medical condition, please contact us prior to the tour and we will be happy to discuss your requirements and make our best efforts to accommodate you.
Our Jungle Adventures Day Walks are not recommended for children under 8 years, however we do offer private night walks for families with young children, tailored to your requirements and subject to availability. Please contact us to make an enquiry.
