The only Great Barrier Reef, Cape Tribulation tour. This one screams adventure. Fast, 25-minute boat ride to and from the reef, with plenty of time to snorkel two beautiful locations, at Mackay and/or Undine Reefs. It’s a half day tour, full of colourful corals, reef fish, starfish, giant clams and the chance to swim with turtles. Maximum of 25 guests per trip. Morning check in at 8am, returns at 12.30pm.
If you love horse riding, this is the adventure for you. Explore the Daintree Rainforest and one of Cape Tribulation’s beautiful beaches from the saddle of one of their gentle horses. There’s no previous experience necessary and all rides are completely guided with a maximum of 8 riders per tour. Tours last around 2 hours each, 1.5 hours of which is actual riding time. If the conditions are right, you may even take the horses for a swim.
Your chance to explore the unique world of mangroves, in a World Heritage listed wilderness, searching for crocodiles and other critters of Cape Tribulation. Tour day cruises last for one hour and take you along and through the calm waters of Cooper Creek. Being a natural environment, crocodile sightings aren’t guaranteed, but you are guaranteed exclusive access to 9 square kilometers of World Heritage listed wilderness.
When you want to tackle one of the Great Australian Drives, the Bloomfield Track, but you don’t want to risk damage to your own vehicle, this is the tour for you. D’Arcy of Daintree 4WD Tours offers half day tours along the Bloomfield Track, with stops at Cowie Beach and Wujal Wujal Falls; morning and afternoon departures available.
